VIA, a provider of global business communications and education solutions, announced today the addition of Karen Donovan as vice president of healthcare. Donovan brings more than 20 years of executive sales and business development experience in the healthcare industry. She will oversee the planning, implementation and monitoring of programs that contribute to the continued growth, quality and client satisfaction of VIA’s healthcare division.

Her background encompasses working with stakeholders across a wide range of the spectrum, providing strategic solutions for health systems, providers, vendors and insurers in today’s ever evolving US healthcare delivery system.
Prior to VIA, her roles included Market Development at Kryptiq Corporation where she was engaged in federal reform initiatives for Clinical Interoperability, and Business Development and Senior Leadership at Quest Diagnostics and SmithKline Beecham selling cutting-edge diagnostic and information technology solutions. She holds a BA in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University.
