Marco Assis
CEO & Partner
Taking on the role of CEO in 2019, Marco oversees all company functions, establishing company culture, policies, and best practices. He provides vision for our Technology team, and drives initiatives in Strategy, Finance, Operations, and Interpreter Quality.
Prior to joining Propio in 2017, Marco spent ten years working in key financial positions in various countries for Shell Oil Company and Puma Energy. Marco received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from UFRJ/Brazil, and attended business school programs in Australia and the U.S. with focus in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
Joe Samoszenko
Chief Revenue Officer
Company role
Joe’s focus is on corporate strategy, business operations, and business development for the company. Joe has a broad range of experience developing and implementing strategic initiatives.
Background
Prior to joining Propio, Joe worked as an investment analyst, most recently at Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for the analysis of companies within specific industries. Joe earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the Henry W Bloch School of Business at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, where he is working toward his Master of Finance degree.
Chris Pesce
Chief Financial Officer
Company role
Chris oversees all financial operations and reporting of the company, including maintenance of financial systems, FP&A, and internal audit. He works closely with the CEO to provide strategic financial insight to the leadership team, while maintaining strong bank and vendor relations.
Background
Chris is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of Missouri. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dayton. Before joining Propio, Chris held roles of increasing responsibility throughout the finance departments of multiple Kansas City area companies in the transportation and retail industries.
Stefani Voorhees
Chief Human Resources Officer
Company role
Stefani oversees all functions of the Human Resources department, including succession planning, health and welfare plan designs, talent acquisition, training and development, labor relations, and employee engagement.
Background
An innovative leader in human resources, employee engagement and organizational strategy, Stefani develops and implements people-focused programs that drive an outstanding workplace culture and experience. She has led HR programs in variety of industries and holds a bachelor’s degree in human resource management as well as her SHRM-SCP.
Carson Lattimore
Chief Operating Officer
Company role
Carson oversees corporate M&A strategy as well as M&A integration and process improvement.
Background
Carson received a BS in Financial Management from Clemson University and an MSF from the University of Alabama. Carson has more than ten years of professional experience spanning various industries. Mostly recently, he led M&A and Strategic Investing at Western & Southern. Prior roles included time spent at Affordable Language Services, Panmure Capital, Goldman Sachs and EDENS.
Tara Hill
Director of Human Resources
Background
For over 8 years Tara has been a leader in the Human Resources space, contributing to organizations of all sizes. She started her career in Risk Management and focused on workplace safety and insurance. Before joining Propio she worked in legal tech and specialized compliance, talent development and employee relations. She holds an Associate of Applied Science in Management and Human Resources and is sitting for her SHRM-SCP in 2022.
